TRUMP LOOKING LIKE 2024 WINNER AS BIDEN'S INCOMPETENCE MAGNIFIES

I’m certainly no Trumpster propagandist or fanatic despite what you all may think, but Donald Trump is going to get elected president in November 2024. The reason is simple: The thought of Biden-Harris in charge of America through Jan. 20, 2029 has become horrifically intolerable to a growing MAJORITY of Americans.  And the only way to STOP that from happening is to elect Trump. Which sucks too.

There’s great irony here. The political Left and the media Left have for years been spinning the narrative that Joe Biden is the Great Stopper, that he stopped the much-reviled Trump in 2020 and that he will do it again in 2024 ... that he MUST do it again. Guess what? It’s not going to happen. Presidential failure has gotten in the way, and Biden is going to go into history as one of the most incompetent presidents.

A vote for Trump is a vote to STOP Biden. 2024 has become a referendum on Biden-Harris. The narrative has changed. It’s no longer all about Trump.

Polling confirms voters’ dismay and disgust with the president. An Oct. 27 Gallup poll had Biden’s approve/disapprove at 37/59, Rasmussen on Oct. 30 had it at 43/55, Economist/YouGov on Oct. 25 had it at 41/56, Messenger/HarrisX  on Oct. 24 had it at 40/56, CBS News on Oct 19 had it at 40/60, as did Yahoo News at 42/55. Those are abysmal numbers for an incumbent president, not seen since the waning days of Richard Nixon. “I’m not a crook.”

The question is whether Biden’s 2024 re-election – and America’s future -- is FUBAR or just SNAFU. Those are long-outdated and long-forgotten World War II acronyms that can’t be printed in a family newspaper. Being creative I was thinking about SBAFU – like “Situation-Biden-All…” Well, you can figure it out.

POLICY FAILURE: The country’s problems, many of which did not exist during Trump’s presidency, have become intentionally insoluble due to the Biden-Harris incompetency. There’s the open southern border, with 10,000 migrants-per-day flowing in, and nearly 8 million already here, penniless and jobless. They say that they are seeking asylum, meaning they are fleeing from some oppressive government. But they have to prove that in federal court. That means there are 8 million cases pending somewhere, with another 2 million by the end of 2024. And if Biden-Harris wins, it will be up to 20 million by 2028.

Who’s paying for them? Where are they going? Will there be tent-cities everywhere? Biden has no solution except LET THEM COME. Trump would close the border, keep all incoming migrants in Mexico, and deport all migrants who skip court. Problem solved. I know, I sound inhumane. But keep the ones already here, and deal with the idea of an immigration policy seriously.

There are two wars, in Ukraine and Israel, with no end-date in sight, the U.S. putting-out $100 billion for weaponry to “save” democracy, and then tossing-in $100 million for “humanitarian” aid to Gaza which elected a terrorist government (Hamas) which killed innocent Jews and which is now being reduced to rubble by bombs which America paid for. We got that right. Those wars will still be raging in 2024, the Woke/Leftists will still be championing Hamas, but the Leftists will still vote for the pro-Israel Biden because they detest Trump more.  So Israel wins. See the Leftist conundrum?

And then there is “Bidenomics,” with inflation up 3 percent per month over the previous year, with the national debt at $33 trillion, annual interest on that debt $1 trillion, the annual deficit at $1 trillion, 8 percent interest collapsing the housing market, the stock market sinking, gas at near $4 a gallon, credit card interest over 20 percent. But, says Biden, we’re not in a “recession.” All is well.

Add ongoing issues regarding crime, cashless bail, homelessness, mental health, Medicare for all, student loan forgiveness. Which aren’t all that bad…it’s just their execution is so stupid. On crime, the recent Maine mass shooting brought predictable cries for more gun control, which only solidifies the love of the 2nd Amendment. There’s 400 million guns floating around America. Owning a gun is now called “law enforcement.” You know, pop that moth…ok…this is a newspaper.

COGNITIVE DECLINE: Biden wanted to be the “transformative” president, ushering America into an era of socialism. Now he’s the degenerative president. His mental acuity over the past year appears to have deteriorated starkly. It’s almost painful to watch him dodder, fumble and struggle. He will be 81 on Nov. 20. He will be 86 if he serves out a second term. A vote for Biden is a vote for Harris , who is only slightly less incompetent.

Biden OWNS this mess. And if he is to be held accountable, the only way to do it is to elect Trump.

TRUMP NATION:  It must be remembered that Biden-Harris beat Trump-Pence in 2020 by 7,059,526 votes, getting 51.3 percent of the total turnout of 158 million. The breakout was 81,283,501-74,223,975. At the time America was beset by COVID and economic disruption, but the vote was a clear repudiation of Trump and his governing style. It was not an embrace of Biden. It was presumed that the Trump Nation would wither after 2020, by death or satisfaction with the Biden agenda.

The Trump Base may be down to about 72 million adherents, but it is still solid. But Biden made no effort to pacify it. Biden, after winning, set about undoing all that Trump did. This was especially damaging at the border, where “Stay in Mexico” had kept migrants to a trickle, and on energy policy. Biden’s pipeline shutdowns and drilling bans made America more dependent on oil imports, hiking gas prices.

Trumpsters were at first annoyed, and then disgusted. Now they’re enraged. They will turn out. So will those with nostalgia, who remember Trump’s pre-COVID prosperity with no wars and few migrants. He will get 77 million, and he will win.

2024 POLLING: Trump has been indicted in 4 jurisdictions and faces 91 counts of felony allegations regarding election or income tax fraud. But his base understands this is political persecution through rogue prosecution. They comprehend that the Fulton County DA, Fani Willis, who is prosecuting Trump for election interference, wants to run for GA governor in 2026. And that the Manhattan DA, Alvin Bragg, who is prosecuting Trump for paying “hush money” to a stripper, wants to run for NYC mayor in 2025. And that the NY attorney general, Leticia James, who is prosecuting Trump for business tax fraud, wants to run for NY governor in 2026. And that Jack Smith, the special prosecutor on the Jan. 6 crap, wants to get famous.

But Trump, to his credit, has not backed down. And neither has his base. There has been no attrition. An Oct. 25 Reuters/Ipsos poll had it 43/42 for Biden/Trump, and 38/40/14 for Biden/Trump/Kennedy. An Oct. 24 Messenger/HarrisX poll had Trump up 45/41 and a Morning Consult poll had it tied at 43/43. An Oct. 23 USA Today poll had it tied at 41/41 and an Oct. 20 Harvard Harris poll had Trump winning 52/48.  These are clearly just snapshots in time, but they all clearly show a very weak Biden.

Quite explicably, the anti-Trump Republican field has collapsed. It is now obvious that TRUMP CAN BEAT BIDEN. So why settle for less than the real thing?

KEY STATE POLLING: The 2020 Electoral College vote was 306-232, so Biden had 36 more than the needed 270. Biden-Harris won AZ (11), GA (16) and WI (10) by a combined 33,508 votes. That’s 37 EVs. He won PA (19) by 80,555 and NV (6) by 33,596. That’s 62 EVs in play. Biden-Harris won MI (15) by 154,088 and NH (4) by 59,367 so they are probably out-of-play.

Very much in-play, according to an Oct. 19 Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll are 6 of 7 Biden states. Trump is winning 46/45 in PA, 48/43 in GA, 47/43 in AZ, 46/44 in WI, tied 44/44 in MI and losing 46/43 in NV. Trump is winning NC 47/43. Again, horrific numbers for an incumbent one year out from the election.

What can change? Biden can drop out. Trump can be convicted of something somewhere. But Biden is a loser walking.
